Version: 0.8.2
To use this software, please agree to these Terms of Use.
This software ("Living in My Shell", available as both a web app and an Android app) is provided as a free trial version. The trial version is incomplete, contains known and unknown bugs, and is not suitable for production or practical use. Safe and error-free operation of the software is not possible.
The user of the trial version is hereinafter referred to as the “Tester”. The Tester uses the software exclusively for testing and evaluation purposes and at their own risk.
The software author assumes no responsibility or liability for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use, non-use, or improper use of the trial version. This applies in particular to data loss, system failures, security incidents, or consequential damages of any kind.
The trial version is provided "as is," without any warranty. No specific functionality or quality is guaranteed. In particular, no warranty is provided regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the software.
The software author reserves the right to terminate the trial at any time without providing a reason. In such a case, the tester must immediately cease using the software and delete all copies.
The author reserves the right to modify or update these Terms of Use at any time. It is the tester’s responsibility to familiarize themselves with the current version of the Terms of Use.
(1) The rights to texts, images, videos and other content that you put into the application remain with you or with whoever holds them.
(2) You grant the operator the simple, non-transferable and free right to store, copy, technically adapt (for example rotate, crop or reduce in size), transmit to the devices of the project and back up this content. This applies only as far as it is necessary to run the application, and only for as long as the content is stored. Any other use, in particular publication or evaluation for the operator’s own purposes, is excluded.
(3) Only content that may lawfully be used may be put into the application: whoever adds it must hold the necessary rights to it, and anyone who can be seen in images or videos must agree to this. You confirm this for the content you add, and that it does not infringe the rights of third parties.
(4) Towards the operator, the owner of a project is responsible for the content of the project, including content added by other members. The responsibility of whoever adds a piece of content remains unaffected. The owner decides whom to invite, the members have agreed to the project rules, and the owner can delete files from the media library and remove members.
(5) The operator does not check the content of the projects. If the operator learns of unlawful content, the operator may block or delete it and block the account through which it was added. If a criminal offence is suspected, the operator may inform the competent authorities.
If any provision of these Terms of Use is or becomes invalid or incomplete, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
